		<description>Wool is more forgiving than cotton, so you might not need the extra four inches. I once failed to use a larger needle when I knit a cotton tube top in the round, and my knitting did get stretched out and slanted.  Eek :-)</description>

For an adult sweater, that would be pretty small, so I&#039;m betting you&#039;ll be okay with the needles you have.  Most of the time needle lengths are just suggested, not absolute.</description>
