Hi:
I love the Priscilla's Dream Socks pattern. I loaned it to someone and they never gave it back to me. I'm heartbroken, because I tried to order a back -issue from IK and they don't have it. Do you think you might find it in your heart to fax it to me. It's the best sock pattern I've ever had. 510-295-2401. I'm happy to pay you. (nice blog).,

Oh, it's real, Sharon! I decided to go cold turkey (bye, Elann Peruvian Highland Wool - sniff!) because even a cursory examination of my buying habits revealed that I was accumulating faster than I could use, *and* I was not really using my current knitting projects to further develop my technique, just rushing through them. Mistakes are okay (after all, there is the "galloping horse" rule), but when they keep you from becoming a better knitter, it's time to YNBA. Besides, I really, really want to finish a sweater.

It sounds like you took full advantage of the Knitfest shopping opportunity. So is this yarn diet you're talking about purely hypothetical, or are you really going to go cold turkey for a few months? It always sounds so sensible when you explain the advantages...but the reality is sooooooo painful to contemplate. :)

Donna,
Where are you at? I'm in Defiance, 5 whole blocks from the Fifth Stitch; have I met you?
Sounds like Knitfest was great, even though I wasn't feeling upp to it at the time; I won't miss the next one!!!

I'm blaming you for the fact that I'm perusing the Crafter's Choice website YET AGAIN and actually adding things to my cart.

I've been toying with the idea of Knitting On The Road...where did you find it on sale? Chain store or somewhere local?
