It's Opal Brasil, color 5001. I think it's the bold colors that make it work for me; I have a love/hate relationship with Opal - love the yarn, but the color schemes are often just not what I'm looking for...

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I realy like the Crusoe pattern and I have koigu for mine after I finish my sock pal's. One of the other patterns on my wish list is the retro in the latest Interweave. How do you like the Mountain Colors?

*Sighs wistfully* What a great vacation! Acadia NP is one of my favorite places.

*Sighs louder* And your treasure trove of sock yarn is simply gorgeous. Speaking for myself, the Bearfoot colorway seems fine, but of course Koigu is always wonderful.

Thanks for the good word on the durability of Cherry Tree Hill Supersock - after all that frizzing, I'm much reassured.

Darn - now I *really* regret my mistake. Ah well, upward and onward - to Threadbear; see you Friday!

So close to Halcyon Yarns....and yet so far away! I drool over their magazine ads...maybe the reality would just be another ordinary yarn shop. Yeah.
Are we still on for Friday at Threadbear? What time? Will you have time for lunch and/or coffee/tea/whatever?
